BLUE CHIP COMPANY, DUMFRIES
The work consists of the design and build of weather proofing an existing storage building, comprising design, detail design, supply and installation of the structure and associated civil works. The works include the following: foundation works, structure steel, cladding, rain water goods, associated drainage, lightning, protection, vent stack and all civil works.
The building structure consists of 24mtrs span, 120mtrs long, 6mtrs high with single skin cladding to roof of sides. The works was carried out in a sequenced operation having space to erect two bays only.
Due to health and safety issues we were advised the necessity of erecting and cladding the building in a temporary erection area before moving the structure into its final position by means of sliding the structure on a peeporus  track. TA Kirkpatrick were awarded the contract as main contractor and provided all necessary site management services.
